A former P&G General Manager described me as “a design leader who succeeded in establishing and leveraging design as both a strategic function within the P&G business and a recognized business practice.” Bringing design as an integral part of a multinational’s strategy and operations has been one of my main professional focus and passion.
I have worked toward this goal over the past 20 years in both my roles as Design Director and Design Thinking trainer. In addition to P&G, I have also established the regional design activity for Estee Lauder and Alcatel mobile phone. My experience has strengthened my belief that design can benefit every business, and that design is more important than ever in a customer- and user-centric economy.
Over the course of my career, I also have acquired a high-level expertise in:
- International creative direction.
- Brand and service innovation.
- Multi-functional team leadership for leading global FMCG companies and agencies across Asia, Europe, and the USA.
In line with my passion to inspire and develop people, I also work as an executive coach, deliver workshops on strategic design thinking and am a frequent speaker at conferences.
I hold an MBA from the Adelaide University in Australia, and a Bachelor Degree in Arts and Design from the Art Center College of Design (CA, USA).
In my broader portfolio, I am also an energy master, painter, sculptor and author.
